In this mod, we play as a transfer student who has just transferred to Japan, where we meet our beloved Literature Club and take up residence in the home of our lovely host for the year: Monika! To quote the release page directly, "You have one year before you leave Japan and return home, but could a special someone you meet make you stay there longer? Or perhaps, could you take that special someone home with you?" I can't wait to find out.
Hi! It's been a while again, hasn't it? God, my health just has not let me have any consistency lately, but after biting my pride & going to see a doctor, I got some meds to try out for my throat, and they seem to be helping, cuz I'm finally feeling well enough to stream again! I did not intend for this summer to have such a drought in content, I am super sorry about that, but I've gotta put myself first when it comes to my health. I'm gonna get real for a second here, so get ready to read a goddamn essay.
I'm notorious for neglecting to do stuff that would benefit myself in favor of doing things for someone else, because that's just how I am. I love to help people out, make them laugh, make them smile, and just brighten their day by doing what I do, it's very rewarding, but I often do it at the detriment of myself by neglecting to do stuff that I probably should do. Important stuff, like regular doctor's & dentist's visits, using vacation time from my day job when I go out of town, forgetting about gift cards, keeping up with all parts of my personal care routine, etc. I think you get the point.
I get caught up in what I want to stream on the channel & keeping up with family & friends that I forget about stuff like this, because I'm a very singularly focused guy. I like to really dedicate myself to what I'm doing, because I want to do the best that I can at whatever I'm doing, but because of that, I can lose sight of things I really need to do for myself. That, and I really don't like to bother people about personal things unless it gets to a point where it's seriously impacting my ability to work. I like to live fast and loose, because I love having that flexibility, but sometimes it pays to run a tighter ship, and that's what I've been learning lately. It's something I'll probably get better about over time. Anyway, what are you reading this for, go download the damn mod already!
