š¦ Video Description:
This game uses DirectX 11 by default, but Intel Arc GPUs have struggled with it ever since the game's release, particularly when paired with lower-end or budget CPUs. However, the game also includes an official Vulkan implementation, which you can enable by adding `-vulkan` to the Steam launch options. This is an official featureāit's not a mod or hackāand it won't result in a ban. Most Intel Arc users are likely to see a significant performance boost with Vulkan, while Radeon and NVIDIA users might not notice any improvements.
In my case, I see a boost of 50ā100 FPS, depending on the area. On DirectX 11, I sometimes drop as low as 150 FPS, with GPU usage around 70%. By switching to Vulkan, I rarely drop below 200 FPS, with GPU usage consistently around 90ā100%. Users with lower-end CPUs may experience even greater gains.
If this helps you, make sure to enable Resizable BAR (REBAR) in your BIOS, disable CSM, and turn on XMP or EXPO profiles for your RAM. Additionally, ensure your RAM is installed in dual-channel mode, in slots 2 and 4 (from left to right).
