I wanted to test the damage of DoTs on a class that wasn't meant to be played for DoT damage. It seems like it depends on how many DoTs you apply to an enemy. One DoT itself can barely kill small enemies, multiple DoTs at once can even rip through unslagged enemies. (If you remember the DoTs of a barrel killed an unslagged enemy in my Melee Zer0 Build video once) DoTs themselves aren't effective at all, but if you're going to shoot the enemy instead of just watching him fight against the DoT like me, DoTs can help you to kill stuff. While you're shooting you keep applying DoTs which then will do a considerable amount of damage. Also while your reloading or hiding or something else DoTs can reduce the enemies health regen. Also they're good to get heals from with a Moxxi weapon.
