So, after we mined the ice for Nina and murdered all the creatures living there (as you do), we then head on back to town to hand in a bunch of quests. We get another mission about laser weapons from Janey once again (in case you didn’t realize that Laser weapons were a new thing in this game, they definitely hit it home with these missions). We also get contacted by Sr. Hammerlock (who I would’ve liked earlier to clarify how that one species mate; Yes, I still remember that conversation along with a bunch of other useless things like that) who asks us to help him procure some…not-so-legal animals and mail them to him on Pandora. Out of all the creatures they could’ve been referring to (at least, the ones that were new in Borderlands 2 since this takes place after the original game), I really didn’t want to see these annoying Bastards once again. It pains me even more knowing that we (the player, not the character) are the sole reason they exist on Pandora in the Second game.
