Beyond Good and Evil Part 18: Super Sneaky
0So, after finally making my way to the Slaughterhouse and opening the passageway out of here, we start our little adventure through this giant maze, looking for more dirt on the Alpha Sections. I do find all the passageways leading me to the all the secrets but, as the genius that I am, I didn’t really understand how to get to a few of them. One of them is rather tricky since it requires you to climb up pipes that look like they are supposed to be background images (didn’t realize they actually did something and weren’t just for decorations) while the other entrance was super obvious that even made me face palm once I figured it out. All that happens in later videos though because for now, I will try and make my way through quite a few landmines. Once inside the Slaughterhouse, it’s more of what we’ve been doing in the last couple of levels; There is a lot of sneaking around and trying not to get caught. The stealth mechanics in this game aren’t too bad although the camera feels very awkward at times. I do also wish for there to be a mini-map to either point out where the enemies are or showing you their field of vision to make these sections a little easier. That being said though, I do like the idea of not having a mini-map to make everything feel more authentic (like you’re actually sneaking through the facilities), so I’m sort of stuck between two different states of mind on this matter.
