Bosconian | Namco Plug In Play | Port Gameplay
49Namco's "Plug-In-Play" features five classic arcade games remade for its hardware. They're downgraded versions with different sound bytes. The game is mono, it will only be heard in one ear as this is the raw output file from capture.
The graphics are roughly the same but in some cases the physics are different - usually worse. The game logic is particularly confusing in Bosconian where what does and doesn't effect entities seems to change now and again (at first projectiles from other sources do not destroy enemy ships... later into gameplay they do destroy enemy ships).
Bosconian is much more difficult without six-directional input.
They're not bad ports but they're not necessarily good either, given that these were released far past the arcade era where they originated from.
