9th inning, just like baseball!

3 Hammerhounds and 2 Thamuz' square off. The Hammerhounds are from the bosses.wad (a sort of resource wad, albeit a small one), whilst Thamuz has his own wad. There are several versions of Thamuz floatin' around the net, and this is just one of them.

Thamuz is a Cyberdemon based monster. In it's solo-wad incarnation, he is backed by 4,800 hitpoints. Pretty steady. He has about 3 attacks, one of them capable of deflecting projectile attacks (and being immune to hitscan attacks completely). The first is a long volley of green fireballs that totals perhaps 100 or so damage. The next is a larger fireball that appears to be a tracer, but a poor one at that. Since I rarely play against Thamuz, I don't know much about this barely used attack. His last one is perhaps his most devious. He freezes himself in a pain animation, and a bunch of green flames appear on the ground around him. While doing this, he is invincible and deflects projectiles (so watch out with that BFG9K). After a few seconds, the green flames shoot out with high velocity and do very high damage. So while the Hammerhounds launch their ranged attacks at 'em, hurting themselves in the process, Thamuz is about to fire 3 green flames for solid damage.

Hammerhounds have 3,500 health, so they have quite a disadvantage here. However, there are 3 of them. Anyway, Hammerhounds have seismic attacks, as well as ranged ones involving rocks and whatever. He either produces a bunch of rocks in the air that come down, dealing splash damage on impact, or a bunch of rocks that spin around him and launch towards the enemy (usually you, by default). His seismic attacks involve firing a rock or something that heads towards the enemy's last position. It produces an interesting animation to say the least. The other one involves them pounding the ground, producing a wave that causes pretty nasty damage. They do this rapidly and quite often as well, so they can kill many enemies pretty quickly with that attack alone.

3 on 2, who will win?

Thamuz can be found as a solo-wad (this incarnation for your referrence) at Tormentor667's site: http://www.realm667.com. As usual, it's in the Beastiary section.

The Hammerhound is a part of the Bosses.wad, found here: http://www.doomworld.com/idgames/index.php?id=12888

Note: I don't suggest summoning the Super Cyber as it causes a bug that can end the level for no real reason. So if you are recording a video and summon a super cyber, you just screwed up your chances to make a cool video since the level finish screen will appear after a minute.
