The Boston Cannons were on the verge of playoffs this year, but were unable to come out on top as the regular season came to a close. Despite being a solid program with some stellar talent, the Cannons were not able to string together enough back-to-back wins to gain momentum during 2014. They were plagued with one or two goal games, not quite finding the back of the net as often as they may have hoped.
