Third time's a charm. I think I finally have the distinction between space (32) and special MC6847 space (96) as utilized in the original VZ-200 version of the game. Now the game map/levels should render correctly. SPOILER WARNING! I play through a good many of the levels here, although not to the end (level 12). I think I have the game about as fast as the BASIC compiler can make it. See the following for my prior trials at getting the game fully functioning:
