BOWSER KART-A-THON POSTPONED =(
29Hey guys, unfortunately I have to postpone my all-day stream tomorrow. Despite planning this weeks in advance and making absolute sure that nothing would conflict with this date, unfortunately we are at the mercy of these contractors, so whenever they decide "oh hey, we're changing the date we are doing things," we have to abide by the changes, even when the schedule change takes effect less than 24-hours from when we get the message. So because we have to unhook all electronics in all of the rooms (and even if we didn't, it's still a lot of noise; background noise I don't want to put you guys through during the stream), there is absolutely no way I can do this tomorrow....I'm dreadfully sorry to everyone who was looking forward to this....I was looking forward to this as well and was completely saddened when I was given the news this morning......
The replacement/postponement stream will be either this weekend or next week. Obviously I want to make sure I won't get the middle finger again after announcing a new date, so I want to make absolutely sure the next date will be on lock before I announce it. It WILL still be happening though, it just won't be tomorrow, which sucks, because tomorrow is Bowser Day and I really wanted this to happen tomorrow.
If it is this weekend, I will more than likely be changing the date of the Star Warrior Cup from this Sunday to next Sunday, but again, let me figure out the date first before we make that change official.....
Thanks for your time, and apologies again that this had to happen. I was assured and reassured multiple times that I had the clearance for this day to stream, and I can't help but feel angry that everything I was told was absolute bullcrap. Seriously, just be honest with your customers. If dates are unpredictable, tell them that "there is a chance we might need to change the schedule," because even with that news, I would have probably picked a different day, but no, I was told "You have this day free, go ahead with your plans," which led me to sensibly believe I would be fine. But alas, I will save you guys from further ranting and stop there.
Anyway, as I said in the video, I'll post another video this week when I figure out the new date. Until then, stay safe, stay well, and remember that Bowser is awesome.
