Having trouble beating Sam again? Here are 5 tips on how to beat Sam 2nd time in the story mode! I know he’s one of the hardest boss in Boxing Star so I’ve made this video and hopefully it would help you win. :)

About Sam (2nd encounter):
Sam is a lot stronger and faster this time. He still uses hooks but changed his stance to lucky puncher. He also has new megapunch: Imhotep (mummy).

Strengths:
* Fast hooks
* Can make you into Shock state
* His megapunch (IMHOTEP) is hard to dodge at first

Weakness:
* He only throws hooks most of the time
* No random combination

Here's some of his stats:

HP: 12008
Hooks: 89%
Jabs: 10%
Uppercuts: 1%(the percentages are just based on my own experience)

The 5 tips to beat Sam (2nd) time:
0:24 #1- Evade his hooks but don’t block.
As much as possible, try to ONLY evade his hooks so you can counter them. If you block, it will only deal damage and it’s harder for you to react and throw your counters.

0:44 #2- Guard up.
Although I’ve mentioned not to block his punches, still keep your guard up. He will throw you some jabs to open up your defense so he can throw his hooks.

1:04 #3- Put him on stun state.
Putting him on stun state is one of the best offence you can do. If you’re do uppercuts, you need to connect atleast 2-3 punches. 3-5 for hooks and a lot for jabs. :)

1:31 #4- To evade his megapunch, weave to the same direction where he spins.
This would require you some practice. Watch this portion over and over so you can be familiarized with his movement. Basically, you weave to the direction where he spins (twice).

1:51 #5- Counter with just 1 punch.
This is a golden tip especially if you’re fighting with a faster opponent. Don’t go toe to toe with Sam. Be patient. Trust me. :)
