Braid, created by Jonathan Blow, is a classic puzzle platformer and widely regarded as one of the best indie games. The whole game is about manipulating time as a mechanic to collect puzzle pieces. Braid may not be the first game to use this type of mechanic, but the storytelling and music in this indie game create quite the masterpiece.
