It's a shame the person who made reapplication hasn't really done anything else with the story yet, and is making remakes of lost footage pastas instead, but hey it hasn't been that long. Maybe the series will come back at some point next year. Anyway I've played this before so Brandon's playing it this time.

So, my opinion is it relies a bit too much on loud noises, the gameplay is pretty bland, with flat levels and no secrets, the engine is very odd, and the spritework is hit or miss. With that being said, the game has a very unique vibe to it. The overall presentation manages to be unique while not straying too far from the vanilla formula. The story being presented here seems to be a very personal one, with the Sonic.exe of this game being a vengeful spirit of some kind. I like the atmosphere and the story it could be leading to. We've given enough to guess and theorize but it still feels like we've seen very little in the grand scheme of things, and I'm looking forward to the return of this series, if it does.
