This left her feeling confused about her identity. The traumatic experience of a sexual assault by a man led to Brandy hating men. Words from her friends and colleagues led her to doubt who she really was.
She was seduced into a lesbian lifestyle for seven years. However, a time came where she knew she couldn't live a double life. Her faith in Christ was more important to her, yet she struggled to understand why she would perish in hell were she to pursue this lifestyle. Brandy sought the Lord Jesus in prayer for guidance, and she was convicted. In the strength of God's Spirit, she faced her girlfriend, and told her that it was time to end the relationship. Brandy surrendered her life to Jesus, and dedicated herself in service to Christ.
