Brave Fencer Musashi - Walkthrough Chapter 1
0This is a classic RPG from the 1998 SQUARESOFT team. Brave Fencer Musashi is an awesome game, though now-a-days it is lacking in the graphics department. Beyond the normal aspects of an RPG for that time the main character had 2 swords, one of which gave the ability to assimilate the abilities of most enemies. It also did not use the traditional turn based combat that was common place in the genre at that time. This game had a more free form style of combat as well as giving the player the choice to kill enemies or simply just leaving them to their own devices. The assimilate ability did not just give the player a new choice of attack, but it also gave the game an additional puzzle solving dynamic as well. This game is truly a classic and I am truly annoyed that it did not make the top 100 RPGs list that Game Informer botched a few months ago.
