Shout out to youtuber Hafiz Azizi as his tips are the core of this run. And also, to those who dislikes the iUBB run because there's no challenge in it, if you want to be challenged in the first place then you shouldn't be looking for guides lmao
Ok now regarding the run. I may still be... partly "cheating" as the squad composition is pretty much the same with my previous iUBB run. I'll also share the attack patterns, HP threshold moves, and what to do in certain situations, but for now here's my squad where everyone is 0BC cost.
EZRA lead - Ortus/Forbidden Apple, OE3 DGL (for 0BC setup)
RAVEA - Imperial Savior/Health Codex, OE3 ABDGHJ (NUKER)
XENON - Heaven's Edge/Platinum Bangle, OE1 AEGH (UBB break Shields)
FIZZ - Four Bonds/Elder Hat, OE1 (Any OD Filler works)
WINTIA - Golden Heart/Elder Hat, OE1 SP doesn't matter
SENBON friend - OD Fill SP, BB/SBB Recast effect (recommended)
So far I haven't found any alternative for XENON and WINTIA yet
WINTIA is practically the MVP here. CURSED XENON and CURSED ESTIA pierces normal miti like that of OE XENON's UBB (Gumi WTF?) so WINTIA's UBB Elemental miti will be your key to survive their normal attacks. Also, her UBB provides 3Turn 100% DoT reduction which is helpful for the 2Turn massive DoT CURSED ESTIA applies. Use RAVEA BB-UBB-AUTO for nuking
DISCLAIMER: The following moves are majorly based on my observations, I might get a thing or two wrong... and I did this run while having a hangover so my execution sometimes fail lmao
CURSED XENON
Always keep WINTIA's UBB Elemental miti (it lasts for 5TURNS!), use this at the very start then reapply it on Turn 3 to not overlap on turns where you need to nuke.
Every Turn - 2 ST attack that pierces normal miti + heal related debuffs
Every 3 turns he will inflict sphere effect negation.
Every 5th turn (5th, 10th, 15th, 20th~) he will cast a 1M HP Dark shield in which you need to break next turn (6th, 11th, 16th, 21st~) so he won't buffwipe your party before he nukes. Other turn based moves will also not occur on these turns
On Turn 12 and every 6turns onward (18th, 24th~) 1turn LS lock
CURSED ESTIA
Like in CURSED XENON, use WINTIA's UBB at the very start and always keep the Elemental Miti active. Having the Elemental mitigation up all the time will keep CURSED ESTIA's attack to stay at only 1dmg
AOE, lots of AOE - I won't discuss this as I really don't know what they do
Every 4 turns (4th, 8th, 12th, 16th~) CURSED ESTIA will cast shield + 100% damage miti. Like in CURSED XENON you need to break that shield on the next turn (5th, 9th, 13th, 17th~) so that no buffwipe will occur. Also, actions based on HP thresholds will not take place during this turn but will still be casted on the turn after the shield is broken (6th, 10th, 14th, 18th). Use XENON's UBB to break the shield.
Alternative for XENON's UBB to break CURSED ESTIA's shield (*Unconfirmed)
FIONNA / CIARDHA Triple SBB - NOT WORKING c/o u/askilledkarl
UBB Normal Attack nuke
Pass 80%, 60%, and 40%HP inflicts massive DoT - Activate WINTIA's UBB on or before you reach these thresholds, example
80% - WINTIA UBB - AUTO - 79% OR 79% - WINTIA UBB
Pass 50%HP - BB Drain + 2 turn LS Lock
As for ELAINA, be sure that you switch your units or at the very least 1 unit have passive AI with them. Kinda ridiculous when ELAINA attacked lmao
So was it worth it?
In terms of convenience, nope.
Is it accessible to f2p?
XENON and WINTIA are rare summons so not really, I was just lucky I pulled them.
How about alternatives?
Yeah I'm actually looking for ways to make this more f2p friendly. The main idea of the vid is not the UBB spam but to reveal the work around with stage 4 and 6. Hopefully this vid could help community to come up with an idea to make this accessible to most players
