Breath of the Wild: Accurate Star Fragment Farming (WORKS EVERY NIGHT)

I created this video after having trouble with the Dueling Peaks method. Some more research at what other players found lead me to this step by step. Apologies in regards to the volume difference between my voice and the game. I left this video unedited in order to demonstrate that the waiting game is real. Here is a written summary:
NOTE: Star Fragments can appear on ANY MOON PHASE. Waiting for the full moon is a waste of time.
1. Choose a lookout point. Dueling Peaks is preferred due to its clear view of Hyrule Field.
2. Rest/sleep/wait until Night (9:00 pm). Any location/campfire will do. You can even set up camp on Dueling Peaks.
3. Warp to Shee Vaneer shrine (if you're not already there).
4. Save at the top of Dueling Peaks and CLOSE your game software completely.
5. Load Breath of the Wild and load your save.
NOTE: Steps 5 and 6 are now optional. Skipping time to Noon or Morning before skipping to Night also seems to reset the timer.
6. Position your camera to where you can see Hyrule Field well. Do NOT move your camera to look for the Star Fragment. Shooting stars will fall within your camera's field of view. In this way you can control the general area which it lands.
7. Star Fragments can fall at any point between 9 pm and 3 am. Patience is key.
8. Once the star falls, glide over and retrieve. Rinse and repeat. NOTE: Star Fragments do NOT disappear when you warp. For faster farming, PIN the location with your Sheikah Slate and warp to the nearest shrine or tower to speed up the process.
This method is still not technically 100% fool proof. Bad luck such as obscuring weather or the off chance the meteorite doesn't materialize after falling can make this tricky. Simply reload your save if you do not see the shooting star between 9 and 3.
Credit goes to the dedicated players on the internet for researching this method.
