Breath of the Wild Helps Save Someones Life - A Personal Story of Escapism & Depression
Depression is very real. Anxiety is very hard to deal with. Combine the two and it becomes nearly impossible to find a will to love. This is true of a former youtuber, who was able to save himself in large part thanks to Breath of the Wild, a game he wasn't even looking forward to playing.
Through all of this, I also explore a bit of depression in my own life, how I saw it staring me in the fact just today, and why video games and entertainment mediums can be much more important for many people's lives other than just having fun.
