So I recently played Brigand: Oaxaca and enjoyed it quite a bit. Calling it rough around the edges is an understatement, the game really feels like it's running off someone's hopes and dreams with code thrown in to just barely glue the thing together. Despite that, it's really well designed and has a lot of charm. If you're a fan of Deus Ex, Thief, or System Shock, then this is probably a game you'll like a lot. The title of this video is also a little inflammatory but I mostly meant it as a joke (plus I literally sat looking at my monitor for five minutes trying to come up with something) about the current state of the industry with its ballooning budgets and recent high-profile failures. I doubt anyone's actually going to be humiliated by this game, though I do think there's a lot of design elegance here that larger studios seem to have forgotten.

Also my friend won't stop calling it Brigand: Ohio and I wish I had never met him.
