According to Nate Denny, deputy secretary of broadband & digital equity at the North Carolina Department of Information Technology, broadband infrastructure challenges aren’t just a problem in rural areas. There are hundreds of thousands of unserved or underserved households in his state, rural and urban alike. The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is critical to solving the problem.
