The origin story of Soul Manic PT1:

Manny was just a under paid DJ who put his love of music over everything. He mainly preferred the classing Jams over the new age sounds.

One day Manny was DJing a small club that he swore would be his big break. He finally convinced his 2 bestfriends, Nool and Sonu, to come see his show.

Seeing his bestfriends in the crowd gave him this new sense of hype that he has never felt before. He had the crowd chanting his. the club was bumping!

However, as Manny was popping off with his sick beats, he was unaware of the dangers that were happening right inside the club.

"Yo boss the bomb is set. when can we blow it up and watch the bomb go BOOM!?" The moronic henchman exclaimed.

"No worries. we will set it soon." He stated menacingly. "You rigged it to the music right?"

"Yea boss. We set it up to explode right when the song gets to the part where it says Staying alive" The brute like henchman grinned.

"Ohh I really like that song. Ha ha ha ha staying al-..." the vapid henchman was put on his by the Brute.

"Hahaha how Ironic. because no one in this will be staying alive" The Boss laughed with an evil tone. "Now let's go" The boss, the idiot, and the brute all left the club.

Due to the volume of club, no one heard them... except Sonu who was listening nearby.

Sonu immediately traversed his way through the crowd to the front to where Manny was playing. He tried to Yell to Manny, but the music was too loud and Manny was deep into his spins to notice sonu. Thinking quickly, Sonu ran back through the crowd to search for Nool. He looked all over the club's dance floor but could not find him. Sonu was lost and the song was close to the part.. thinking fast Sonu grabbed a drink, aimed it at Manic, and tossed it high in the air over the crowd. Sonu watched the drink soar through the club. It was almost as if time moved in slow motion.

the drink landed on manny and splattered all over his equipment shutting the sound off. Sonu thought he was victorious, but the crowd didnt care. they we drunk and too hyped. the continued the song and all you could was a collective "HA HA HA Ha Staying Ali- BOOM- The club exploded. Sending manny flying backwards and engulfing everyone in flames.

Manny unconscious.

Manny began to wake up and through the haze and smoke, he saw his partially charred friend Sonu laying in the distance. The DJ stumbled over to him. He fell to his Knees " Sonu... sonu wake up!!" he yelled, tears began corming at the base of his eyes.

"M..m...mann..manny? I lost Nool. I..I dont know where he went -cough-

"Its okay man. let's go find him together"

"Naw man.. I'm de..dead. Do you not see me. this it bro.." He said trying to hold onto his last breath. Sonu fell silent.

Tears rolling down Mannys face he weakly go back onto his feet "I gotta find Nool." he thought to himself "NOOL!?!?"

"What's up?" Nool asked, walking out of the restroom seeming unphased. " Woah.. what happened here?"

Manny dead planned at Nool and ran to him " What do you mean what happened?! The whole club exploded and Sonu is dead! where have you been?

"I had to take a shit..."

"W...what... alright"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN SONU IS DEAD?"

Manny was about to respond but then the men in blue showed up.

fast forward. Months had passed and Manny had given on his dream of being a DJ. Every time Manic sees or hears about DJ equipment, he has a mild anxiety attack and thinks back to Sonu.
