Brumak Boss Battle - How I Defeated Brumak Guide Walkthrough Tips Below Took Many Tries Strategy
0In Act 1 Chapter 6 of the Gears Tactics story mode, we encounter our very first boss fight against the Brumak. The first part of this stage is relatively easy. This video is long because I had to try several times before I finally cracked the Brumak Boss fight. If you don't want to repeat this encounter multiple times, read below for guide / tips / walkthrough on how you should approach this boss fight. Check out 1:13:00 of the video for the start of the encounter that succeeded when I finally beat Brumak.
What your instincts will tell you to do: rush the Brumak and only attack its back. It felt good after the first few tries to get Brumak to 2/3 health after the first turn. Close all emergence holes so there aren't any more enemies. Absolutely WRONG.
What you SHOULD do:
Take the battle slow. Actually attack its arms. When you destroy the arm weapons, it can only stomp which means it HAS to get close in order to do damage to you. You're gonna have to move basically every turn to dodge the missiles. You don't want to get hit with these. I don't recommend spending any turns/resources closing the emergence holes - I found that a good amount of the wretches actually get hit by the barrage anyway. Make sure you heal with Gabe. Don't get greedy with the second wind ability - the wretches/missiles will end your game if you hold it for too long. The last and successful try was the longest so I urge to you to be patient with this boss fight. Good luck!
