0Yes, I'm aware of the recent stigma attached to this mod regarding the creator being a bad person, the most prominent one being he is a Nazi or Nazi sympathiser. I'm just uploading this to complete the set really as this was recorded the same night as my other Doom 1 videos....so I'm just jamming it up.
Nazi or not, it doesn't detract from it being a good decent product...not perfect, but nothing ever is. It's like Ford and Disney....the stigma attached to those people never stopped anyone driving Ford cars, or watching Mickey Mouse films. Then there's the jerrycan, an actual Nazi invention that people use to this day. Sure these things are more useful than this Doom mod, but even so anything that tries to entertain is still making an effort to brighten up someone's day!
I don't support Nazism or any sort of Fascism, but still a contribution to the world is still a contribution to the world, even a little one and while I don't like the guy for being a dick, I'll still give credit where credit is due, this mod is still pretty fun.
Either way, here is the last video of my playthrough of Doom 1 using Brutal Doom. I haven't yet touched upon Doom 2, it may still happen but I'm thinking perhaps co-opping it...it's just finding someone to do it with. I may or may not do it with Brutal Doom....I won't if people say they don't want me too, I will if they either say they want it, or I get no-one challenging the option to do so.
Either way, I hoe you can still enjoy some over the top shooty action.
