My Doom Levels with Just Zandronum
No brutal doom this time, just straight up Zandronum...I forgot to upload this one a while a go.
Hello there, this is a WAD I have been working on and off for the last few years. I call the WAD 4Doom. 4Doom4 just helps with version numbers, as 4Doom is what I officially call it.
So now I have a series of 4 levels that are playable and finishable....still things need to be done and tweaked as I'm by no means a full time map maker, that and I have a terrible knack of forgetting information and I'll have to re learn it all eventually.
But, I have the maps. There is no story behind them, but I did try to incorporate scenic transition that would make sense. I have some screenshots to show them too.

I have played these maps in GZDoom, Zandronum/Doomseeker and with Brutal Doom (with or without Doom Metal) and those 3 things seem to be best to play with...but if you wanna try playing in another engine then go ahead, but it MUST allow crouching as there are parts that need it, but not too many.
You can download the WAD from Doomworld. The levels contain all original textures, monsters, items and weapons, there is nothing custom that I have given them aside from changing the music to the PS1 Doom music.

The maps can also be played co-op if you so desire, which does try to include extra monsters and pick ups. (If the co-op can be improved on then I am willing to try, even though originally I only built them for single player).
For best results and to make sure that textures from Doom 1 will show up, just drag both my WAD and a Doom 1 WAD into your chosen source port. From there select to play Doom 2
(No secrets were filmed in this video, perhaps one in the last level but no more).
=+Level 1+= The first level is set in a base, you have your science rooms, storage rooms and ventilation here and a small barracks for anyone who has to work there for prolonged periods of time. (You may want to restart the map after the game sets in, what happens is not meant to happen, it never used to. But if you wanna play with full health, do a quick restart)
=+Level 2+= is still in the base, but here is more storagy, just down the lift from level 1. A supply shop is located here as well as the security computers and a "hidden" officers room, lavish with wood furnishings and a place for relaxation.
=+Level 3+= Connected to level 2 are the level 3 sewers, a maze like complex where lifts connect upto the top layers of the base. More barracks lay here as room had to be made for extra soldiers. The old sewer control system is still located here from before when the new base was built, and just a little while away is the newer, swankier higher tech sewer control system.
=+Level 4+= The next level, the final level there is, is located underneath even the sewers and is even older than the old base is. This is where various dungeons are housed, the demons have since appropriated it for their own use. it is unknown how old these dungeons are or who built them originally, but now they are the home of hell's army. Some of the dungeon area, protrudes out from under the mountains and leads to a morbid courtyard area.
My maps have some problems that I may be working on (If I have found them, I may still have missed any) so it is still a work in progress.
