This is a quick guide on how to beat the brutal difficulty AI in a reliable way, to earn the Hammer of Fate Champion achievement - in case you can't find multiplayer matches (or don't want to).

I threw this strategy together after being dissatisfied with other ways of grinding this achievement. The razorgirl strategy of double teaming with individual units and spamming attacks at the opponent's stage is not only boring, but takes roughly the same amount of time.

The strategy:
*Play as Ironheade vs Tainted Coil on Coiled Remains.
*On game start, immediately build 3 razorgirls and plant a rally flag mid-way down your staircase.
*Aim a beacon towards your closest fan leech and fly to the enemy stage.
*Attempt to take out the battle nun that is spawning units. It's important that you stop this unit quickly so that Doviculus cannot begin to build momentum. With any luck, you'll be fast enough to kill it before a punishing party spawns, which will set you up for an easy, early lead.
*If a punishing party still comes out, at least make sure the nun is dead. If this happens, the soul kissers and the punishing party will split up and attack different fan leeches. This isn't a problem, they'll just be taking out a leech for you.
*If possible, a second nun may spawn and you might be able to kill this too. If not, just bail out and avoid confronting Doviculus alone.
*Make a 4th razorgirl squad and a thunderhog and head back to your now rallied squad.
*Begin saving fans. Take out the closest fan leech and build a merch booth.
*At this point, start to rally towards the center of the arena and upgrade your stage ASAP.
*You'll likely meet Doviculus and a tiny amount of units at this point. Just play the battle cry and anvil of burden solos and let your razor girls roll right over them.
*Keep an eye on the enemy's battle nun count. He may start to send units towards you more frequently now, but fly around often and try to harass nuns that are busy spawning new units, as well as units that are busy moving towards objectives.
*Send your squads to clean up the second fan geyser. If you were really attentive, you may have been able to steal the second fan geyser, but it's likely that it will be an enemy merch booth by now. Just kill it off while you harass individual nuns, soul kissers or punishing parties.
*When you have your stage upgraded, build 2 fire barons.
*Re-position the rally flag to the middle of the arena, so that you can order units more easily.
*When finishing with the second fan geyser, you should have built a huge momentum over the enemy. His units will still be in low numbers and stuck at tier 1. Your fire barons can kill battle nuns and soul kissers easily.
*Upgrade your stage again, to level 3. Do not panic - your units will hold up.
*Continue fighting off small skirmishes and harassing when you have time - you should barely have anything to fight at this point.
*If you have been slacking on the harassment and Doviculus has managed to upgrade his stage, war fathers might now be spawning. Fire barons should still be great at killing these, and the war fathers trickle in so slowly that they aren't a problem.
*Start to advance up the enemy stairs. As your stage finishes upgrading, build 1 or 2 sets of roadies, bringing your unit count in to the high 30's.
*Once you have your army collected and your roadies on the way, advance on the enemy stage and basically crush it. You should have overwhelming numbers at this point and be able to counter all of the hierarchy units that appear.

*Additional tips:
*If war fathers become common, you might have lost your advantage. All is not lost though, you can still pull through.
*Building too many of some units will cause Doviculus to counter them. If a pain lifter appears, you have too many infantry units - however, these catapults are fairly easy to kill if you're quick. Just expect to have no razorgirls left by the time you deal with it.
*Skull rakers can be intimidating but if you're quick, again, you can kill these on your own by dodging the spiked chain throw.
*Tick choppers are infrequent but annoying. You can take one out with a combo of guitar attacks, but don't waste too much time on them.
*Call of the wild is a gamble. You can use it to spawn emergency units, but they are unreliable and you'll usually get a bunch of useless ground urchins.
