BT Infinity 2: Speed Tests 2017 - 1 ms, 75 Mbps Down, 19 Mbps Up
0In this video I run internet speed tests on 3 different nearby servers. Nottingham, Leicester and Peterborough. I switched over to BT Infinity 2 (FTTC) in Q4 of 2016 after many years of torture by TalkTalk's ADSL service.
A couple things about my networking setup. I am using CAT 6 ethernet cables to all of my devices. My router (BT Smart Hub) is not connected to the master socket in the house. I use a twisted-pair ADSL cable running from the telephone socket in my room.
I am not entirely sure if these speed test results are accurate but I am somehow able to achieve pings of 1 ms in nearby servers on a copper/fibre connection.
