Bubble Bobble - Amstrad CPC Gameplay
0Bubble Bobble had plenty of home ports over the years, with the Amstrad CPC version being one of them. This is a really bizarre official release Taito contracted out. The info put in the manual is misleading, as someone over at Software Creations copied a lot over from the NES manual and then they shoved this out hoping Taito was none the wiser. For example, the manual says 100 levels, but there's actually 79 levels and a boss. Levels 80-100 are in the code, but they are empty. The manual also says the continue code exists, but this is actually talking about stealing lives in 2 player mode.
By the way, the CPC port was made by John Pickford, creator of Plok. Meanwhile, sound effects (no music present in this port!) were done by Tim Follin.
