Far Cry 2 is a game that allows you to truly feel the rush of sprinting at someone with a machete. I was pleasantly surprised by this one! It learns every single lesson from the first game, and is much better as a result. This is clearly where the formula really started to come together for Far Cry in general. I love the way the maps and GPs work. I appreciate having a quicksave. Starting a game with an RPG is always a treat. A bit janky, but in the fun ways. The animals are fun, but there's no hunting mechanics, so they kind of just run around and sometimes die, which ends up being kinda goofy sometimes. I think this has made me want to go back and try to hit credits on 3 again. I had a lot of fun!
