Max Payne 2 is a good standard for the quality of a sequel. It improves upon every element of the first game, and makes good on a lot of plot elements from it as well. Sam Lake's beautiful face may no longer feature on our fair protagonist, but his face is plastered on TV shows and posters throughout the story. Fantastic.
