Bug! is quite an innovative platformer that is both simple in design and challenging. It's a cross between Gex and his slapstick humor and stickiness and originality. Bug! is about a movie star named Bug whose movie friends get kidnapped by an actor known as Queen Cadavra, but it's a little more than an act. You have to go save them and put on the performance of your life.

Bug! is all about beating up enemies and platforming. Bug can walk up walls, push objects, pull switches, grab various power-ups, collect loads of gems which can help you reach special bonus rounds, and play bonus levels by finding Daddy-O Longlegs. Bug says funny things when he defeats enemies or gets hit. This and its sequel, Bug Too!, are deceptively challenging and borderline frustrating, but interesting to play at least once. Enjoy.
