Dark Savior is a very... interesting Action/Puzzle/Fighting/RPG hybrid for the Sega Saturn, and perhaps slightly underrated. Visually impressive for its time, you assume the role of Garian, a bounty hunter known to bring bad luck wherever he goes. He's on a mission to stop a crazed monster known as Bilan and a group of hunters actually catch Bilan in the beginning and are shipping him to Jailer's Island to die by carbon freezing.

However, Bilan breaks free from the ship and starts going on a killing spree. You start the game having to make your way to the captain's cabin to signal an SOS. This game is interesting because depending on your performance in reaching the cabin, you will play the game under several scenarios, which was a very cool idea. The game starts around Bilan, but the story actually gets fairly complicated. We've played the game before and get the "hardest" parallel from the start, but that's a bit far off.

What we've decided to do is show you the intros of all three of the initial parallels, and then possibly put up a gameplay sample later. While there is a fourth and fifth parallel, we're still undecided if we'll show how to access them. Here's the first introduction before we go hunting for Bilan. Enjoy.

NOTE: This series of intros act as game samples. While we don't ordinarily use footage not labeled as a "Sample" as, well, a sample, there is enough sufficient footage in the intros to act in lieu of a proper sample. We can decide to make a sample later that is deeper in the game however.
