Bitwig promised us to open their device creation tool, so community would be able to create their own devices. While Bitwig 2.0 did not show us this feature, they added a new little concept called modulators.

You can create your own mono synth just by modulating a single parameter of DC offset device, and with use of other modulators you can create a subtractive, frequency modulating or any other synth you can only imagine.
