If you grew up in the late 80s and early 90s you no doubt heard of He-Man. He was so popular that action star Dolph Lundgren played him in a live action adaptation as well as Frank Langella playing Skeletore. It was the movie that launched Courtney Cox's career and despite being an awful movie proved the franchise was strong. It was so strong that people immediately began spinning it off. Only a couple of years later came The Thundercats.

The Thundercats represented the toy that every parent bought their child with the intention of getting a He-Man doll but finding themselves not knowing the difference between He-Man or Lion-O... but Lion-O was cheaper so that's what people got.

For the hardcores a Thundercats tank line was released throughout the year with multiple configurations. The tank appeared on the show from time to time and is now being recreated with Robocraft.
