I decided to build a zombie experience farm to level up faster and gather loot drops. First, I found a zombie spawner deep inside a cave. I cleared out the surrounding area, making a large, open room (about 9x9 blocks) around the spawner to ensure maximum spawning space.

Next, I dug down three blocks from the spawner, creating a trench for the zombies to fall into. I added water streams at the edges to funnel them toward a central point. From there, I created a water elevator using soul sand and bubble columns, lifting the zombies up about 20 blocks. Once at the top, they flowed through another water stream and dropped down a chute, leaving them with just a sliver of health.

I placed a slab at the bottom of the drop chute to ensure they couldn’t hit me but could still be attacked. With a few swings of my sword, I could easily collect XP and loot. I also added a hopper and chest below to gather any zombie drops like rotten flesh, iron, and the occasional carrot or potato.

To improve efficiency, I lit up nearby caves to reduce other mob spawns, forcing more zombies to appear in my farm. Now, the zombie XP farm is my go-to spot whenever I need to repair gear or gather experience for enchanting.
