Building an SD2VITA Adapter - Overview & Demonstration
204If you have a PlayStation Vita or PlayStation TV running firmware 3.60 or below, a modification known as HENkaku was released in 2016 allowing homebrew to easily be installed and executed! Since it was released, HENkaku has been updated several times for further improvements and more robust features, one of which being taiHEN. taiHEN allows for plugins to be run on the Vita once HENkaku is loaded up, and with this comes the SD2VITA adapter! For a few dollars, anyone with access to a PS Vita with HENkaku can use a MicroSD card as either expanded storage or as a replacement for their Vita Memory Card. With the official Memory Card sometimes being as expensive as $2 per gigabyte of storage, this is a welcome addition to the Vita homebrew community!
