So I spend a lot of 2019 scavenging for deals on hardware and now it is time to finally build my new editing PC. The reasons I'm building this is because when I used to edit video's on my game PC a lot of things didn't run smoothly. Timeline scrubbing was an absolute hell because even at 1/8 of the quality it would continue to stutter. Also rendering times were going through the roof with 10 minute videos taking more than an hour to render. I'm really glad that I build a new PC because it is just so much better, The "old" one is still going to be my daily driver when it comes to gaming.

GPU: GTX 1070 (X2 from inno3D)
RAM: 4x8 GB 3200 MHz corsair vengeance RGB pro
Motherboard: X299 gaming pro carbon (non AC variant)
CPU cooler: ML360R RGB from cooler master
Case: h500m from cooler master
capture cards: HD60pro & 4k60 pro from elgato (corsair)
cables: cable mod pro series carbon cables
Storage: 1 TB 970 evo & 4 TB 860 QVO from Samsung
extra 200mm fans: MF200R from coolermaster
vertical mounting kit (bracket and 16x riser cable) from cooler master (used for the GPU)
30 cm 16x flexible riser cable v2 from Li-Heat (used for the 4k60 pro)
30 cm 4x riser cable from unknown brand (used for the HD60pro)
