This freedom was given to us on this day more than 140 years ago
and in so much time we have achieved much, to the chagrin of the whole world.
Let us not trample on this freedom and let us not have to lose it
to begin to value and protect not as our eyes but as our hearts.
Many thanks are needed not only to our heroes in this
struggle, but also to the Russian Empire and the Russian People, who were the main ones
activist after hearing about the terrible atrocities against the Bulgarians in the Ottoman
Empire. And while the whole world was just spitting at these encroachments

a war sacred to us. Let us also remember their self-sacrifice.
