By default Bulleststorm uses a field-of-view of 85 degrees.
This video shows what the game looks like if you increase that to 110 degrees.

Like many other console ports, Bulletstorm unfortunately uses a very narrow field of view of only 85 degrees.
On consoles this is probably fine, as most people sit several meters from the screen when playing console games.

However, on PC, most people have the screen right in front of their face, so it takes up most of your field of view.
Human eyes have a FOV of about 180 degrees, with 120 degrees binocular FOV (the part covered by both eyes).
Therefore, playing games with narrow FOV, with the screen close to you, feels unnatural and can cause eye strain. Some people even get a headache from it.
A much better setting for FOV is around 100-120.

Fortunately it is quite easy to correct this problem in Bulletstorm.
