Burden of Command is a recently announced mix of RPG and wargame focusing on the story of the 7th Infantry Regiment (Cottonballers) during WWII. It's main gameplay feature being that it focuses on the leadership you exert on your unit rather than on the pure wargame "win the battle" style that most wargames focus on.

While in very early state and just announced with a release date of 2018 (no specifics on quarter), and obviously limited by the small resources of a little indie studio, some names attached to the project as consultants, and the novel perspective it brings to the table make it a game I really want to try.
