In episode forty-eight, we're surprised to find ourselves on the same map as we rescued the pilot on. This time, we're defending against a German advance supported by missile launchers and tanks. Happily it looks like the enemy's heaviest tank has broken down in the muddy road on the way to our lines, but for now, our goals are to hold our positions and swiss cheese any German unit that gets close.
Burden of Command us a platoon-level roleplaying game where we take on the role of an officer in the United States Army commanding a platoon in the 7th Infantry Regiment ("The Cottonbalers") during World War Two. This game uses WW2 as a setting, but in addition to a tactical game, it's a roleplaying game where your personality and how you interact with the officers around you have a major impact in your personal story and the stories of the troops serving under and alongside you. In this run, I'll be roleplaying a sarcastic reservist who loves hearing himself talk and always looks after his troops.
