A friend of mine, Francis has gone to Burning Man on a number of occasions in the past. In 2018, he decided to capture the event.
Filmed almost exclusively with a stabilizer and a cellphone, it shows the flexibility and power of modern mobile filmmaking equipment.
I was hired to take around 9 hrs of footage and edit it to reflect a highlight montage to a selected music track. Something to capture the general feeling and energy of the event.
