Burning Rangers Prototype Beta with a 2 player mode and the burning ship minigame selectable from the title screen.

Running on real Hardware. The Game is burned to a blank disc and running on my 60Hz modded PAL Saturn using a Pseudo Saturn Cart. Output via an RGB Scart cable, line doubled in an OSSC and recorded with a USB Capture device.

In the final release, there was no 2 player mode. The burning ship minigame was initially accessible by playing the story and could be unlocked to play if you rescued the right person in the main game and got the relevant email from them.

The 2 player mode feels quite similar to controlling Tails with controller 2 in Sonic adventure. The initial area is in the training stage and seems to focus a wider view to cover both characters in an arena battle style. Pressing X focuses the view on your character and freezes them (but the other player remains free to move offscreen). Pausing and pressing x loads up the next stage (or part of the stage). This part doesn't work as well. There are major camera issues which renders it almost unplayable.

The burning ship minigame is still a beta, not the same as the one in the final game. It plays about the same but appears to be a test version.
