Burnout Paradise Remastered: Driving About - Switch Version
In a mini series I'll be showcasing the few versions of Burnout Paradise backwards. From Switch to PS4 to the original version back on PS3, with a better look on visuals with the PC version (2008).
The Switch version runs at 1600x900 docked unfortunately not the 1920x1080 resolution EA showcased in their initial trailer, and 1280x720 in handheld. The title feels more in line playing as a handheld experience with a "pick up and go" feel behind it, and it's quite worth having it as a take anywhere and play anytime game similar to DOOM '16 on the Switch.
Is it worth the price tag? It'd be a bit more easier to recommend when it's a bit cheaper, definitely go for the digital version as it only requires 5GB of storage if it's cheaper than physical down the line.
Eventually I'll also replay the series again and go for that A license as well.
This is uncut footage so me being a derp will be on full display.
The only modification to the footage is at the start which I explain in a bit.
I tend to play my Switch titles disconnected from the internet.
So the two long load times at the start were sped up to decrease the wait time for two connection errors to the internet.
They're four times longer then what's presented in the video due to this.
0:00 - First Time Boot
4:40 - Driving About
57:14 - Paradise Bikes
1:07:07 - Toy Vehicles
1:13:52 - Big Surf
1:24:20 - Driving About Pt. 2
1:32:35 - End
Shocking no one.
The claim is at the very start is for a small bit of Paradise City by Guns N' Roses before being muted.
