The Ninja is an enemy character from Slash Mode. He is a non-selectable character.

Slash Mode is a kind of survival mode where the player is required to defeat 100 opponents. These opponents consist of characters that do not appear in any other mode of the game, and the Ninja is one of them. He also appears in different colour palettes as well.

---- Regardless of which weapon you choose on the character select screen, the Ninja will always have his original weapon (the katana).

---- He doesn't appear on the character select screen (which is probably a good thing because he'd most likely freeze the game if he did).

---- When using the Ninja in Story Mode, the game will lock after you defeat the second opponent. You can see this in the video.

===== About Bushido Blade =====
Bushido Blade takes a 'realistic' approach to the weapon-based fighting game genre. There are no lifebars in this game, meaning that a well-timed and accurate full strike to a certain part of the opponent's body can defeat them immediately. The fighters can also disable each other as well by striking the lower part of their bodies, meaning that the recipient can no longer stand up and instead forced to fight by kneeling, hobbling or rolling around on the ground. It's all very unique.
