This is a play-through using Hongou in Story Mode in the PS1 game Bushido Blade 1. Read on below for more information...

Hongou is a special hidden boss who appears at the end, and can only be fought against using Tatsumi and Black Lotus. He is an unplayable character.

Using Hongou in Story Mode, you can actually play through and complete the whole game with him. He uses Mikado's storyline, which means that he uses her dialogues and movements in the story scenes. He does not have any voices for the story scenes. If you complete the game, you'll get Mikado's ending. You can see this in the video.

===== Additional Information =====

---- Regardless of which weapon you choose on the character select screen, Hongou will always have his original weapon (the half long sword).

---- As mentioned earlier, you can actually play through Story Mode and complete the game with him!

---- As mentioned earlier, he uses Mikado's storyline, which means that he uses her dialogues and movements in the story scenes.

---- As mentioned earlier, he does not have any voices for the story scenes.

---- As mentioned earlier, if you complete Story Mode with him, you'll get Mikado's ending.

---- Additionally, you can see the Girl (Suzuka Katsuragi) from the character select screen appear in Mikado's ending.

---- He doesn't appear on the character select screen (which is probably a good thing because he'd most likely freeze the game if he did).

===== About Bushido Blade =====
Bushido Blade takes a 'realistic' approach to the weapon-based fighting game genre. There are no lifebars in this game, meaning that a well-timed and accurate full strike to a certain part of the opponent's body can defeat them immediately. The fighters can also disable each other as well by striking the lower part of their bodies, meaning that the recipient can no longer stand up and instead forced to fight by kneeling, hobbling or rolling around on the ground. It's all very unique.
