If you're thinking about getting one, a few things to keep in mind:

- test both triggers to make sure they work
- look at the bottom screen for excessive wear
- the Nintendo DS store is closed, so you're not adding any new digital games
- if you get a game with installed games, don't delete them, you cannot re-download them from Nintendo
- games save on the DS card, so the extra SD card is kind of moot in terms of needing more space, you can store pictures on there but unless games are installed to it, it's not needed
- make sure the charger plugs in and you see the recharging icon on screen
- if you seen scratches near screws on the bottom, someone has been messing around with things, likely the triggers
- you cannot change the style of the menu

It's a fun little system and there are plenty of great DS games out there that still hold up today.
