BWii: Apocalypse S-Rank, no air units
10Someone suggested this as a challenge for BWii. Having not had an excuse to boot the game (or my Wii U in fact) for some time I decided to do it. The idea: Beat Apocalypse with no Airbase.
Lo and behold, it only took two attempts to get an S-Rank. You'll be harassed by Gunships until you get to the Quad Cannons, at which point they mysteriously stop appearing. Battleships are the biggest threats - the Quad Cannons can exchange fire with them, and all you have to hit them back without a Bomber are the Artillery and Mortar units. You also want to keep an eye out for an infantry sneaking past you.
I guess it's indicative of how easy BWii is that this is totally doable under this condition, but some luck is needed for the S-Rank because you have to keep both Quad Cannons alive. On both attempts their health dipped VERY low, but the final blast that destroys them is all that matters to the ranking. I'd need to mod this mission to make it even remotely difficult. Maybe I will.
