The first phase of a new AI supercomputer has been completed by Meta. According to the company, it will be among the fastest supercomputers on the planet. Researchers will be able to develop better AI models with the help of the RSC, it stated. The current number of Nvidia DGX A100 systems is 760, which has 6,080 GPUs. METAS has built the first exascale supercomputer (RSC), which will run AI models on data sets as large as an exabyte (equivalent to 36,000 years of high-quality video). RSC plans to increase the number of GPUs to 16,000 in the coming years.
