Couldn't get any further than this. I think the key is to get as many spells as possible (the static eye sprites) to help you. Pressing A,S and D activates them (freeze monsters, increase time, and become temporarily invisible). The icons at the top-right of the status panel show how many you have.
I don't think the game has an ending, anyway, as I skipped to level 31 and it just crashed.
