C64 Game - Latent Fusion
Generic but decent Armalyte clone. Game starts at 2:18.
It was the old lyre: FRED had once again been caught by the great professor's henchmen stealing a frozen pizza (tuna onion in addition) from the forbidden freezer. When he was brought before him and charged with him, the old man on the throne shook his head wearily and he said:
"FRED, I see that with you it will probably not be any more right (at least not in this life). After we have already cut off both your hands and cut out your tongue, you should now be punished in your spaceship and into the depths of the Hell hurled down. " FRED swallowed hard (if this was even possible without a tongue), but there was nothing to shake the old man's judgment. The guards grabbed him, loaded him into his small, faithful spacecraft, and catapulted him right into the middle of the purgatory.
"Four", the great devil signaled when he had passed the gate to the underworld, "four levels!" And out of sheer malicious joy he rammed FRED his pointed trident into the very least.
Four levels, four bosses. To advance to the next level or to reach the goal, all four have to be dumped. For a laser salvo, the fire button must be held until the display at the bottom of the screen has fully charged (it will then start to flash). When you let go of the fire button, the laser beam is fired.
When the oncoming opposing rows are killed off, a bonus piece occasionally falls off, which the player should collect with his space shuttle if possible. By shooting the bonus field several times, various bonus options are activated.
You can u. a. a protective shield, reinforced weapons, guns above and below, a tail laser, etc.
As is well known, a cat has several lives, FRED in this special case just ten to begin with.
If the above story is too unimaginative, too crazy, too emotional or whatever, you will find an alternative framework in the game intro. And now have fun!
